Since I last posted the CCD
image of M13 I have been futzing around with whatever PS tools allowed me to
make a bigger and better mess out of the image... my original goal was to see
exactly how far out M13 went... in other words, using the incredible
sensitivity of the CCD, see what I could record from the glob. This time I
went longer on the exposures and used anti-blooming...
There are two images,
one as we "normally" perceive M13 (which for aesthetics I prefer...) and one
below it, same scale, same size, that shows more of the "real" M13...
I have circled the
same star in the lower right corner of each image to give you a frame of
reference...
Still working on the
color data... cropped the red and green frames incorrectly so now we get to
start all over again...
