Nice image!  This object is indeed very faint and it's tough to get much dynamic range in the nebula.  You and your Schmidt did a fine job.

As a comparison here's my attempt with the Slevogt camera (9" f/4.5, medium format).  It's a two-stack of PPF (90 minutes, as I recall) and TP (60 minutes):
