I'm a Mac guy, but aren't *.scr files scripts for Windows Script 
Hosting, etc.,
a common vehicle for PC viruses. Instead of improving their software not
to allow this stuff, Microsoft goes out and buys an Anti-virus company
so that they could sell you another piece of code that will take more
of those CPU cycles that you are paying a premium for.
