I was considering back and forth whether or not I should deliberately choose
a spot with poor horizon in order to get a partially eclipsed Sun at Sunrise
or if I should go for the best possible horizon to be able to follow the
eclipse from start to finish. I chose the latter and are quite happy with
the results. After a wonderful sunrise I could watch how the colour of the
Sun changes with its altitude and how the colour of the landscape around us
changed with the eclipse.
