 Yes, that is the real question, is there a market for a new film-ONLY
camera which costs $7000 Euro. You will get similar images like the ones
from my 8" Schmidt but 1.7X better resolution and interestingly with their
medium format film holder, even more field than my images. I think it will
cover the entire Rho Ophiuchus region plus the large patch of red nebulosity
below Antares in one frame. Recently Richard Payne made his own 9" Schmidt,
this would have been an alternative. So if anyone out there plans to make a
larger Schmidt than the standard 8" F/1.5, you can consider this instead.
 You will also be very dependent on Tech Pan. You should not use this camera
with color film, why bother <g>.
