I'm surprised that Homey D didn't have the bolts you wanted---most of
the ones I've been in have a large section where you can buy the bolts
by the piece. Although, at any given time, they might be out of stock
for what you want....
Second, the 3262 that I mentioned in a different message, takes a
1/4-20 bolt to secure it. The bolt on the ball head itself has a
spring-loaded 3/8-16 sleeve around a 1/4-20 bolt so it can screw into
a MF camera that takes the larger bolt or the more common smaller
bolt. Or maybe I'm confused and need to go look at mine---it
definitely has a spring-load 3/8-16 + 1/4-20 part, but I can't
remember now if it was in the base or on the ball head.
As I recall, the head is rated at about 5--6 kg. I just did a check
at both B&H and Adorama and discovered that model is no longer
available... :-(
