I'm very impressed with the Tamron 17mm rectilinear lens, shot wide open here. It has some vignetting, but no significant aberrations, even in the corners. Previously I had been shopping around for a Zuiko 18mm lens, but the Tamron must be the winner, especially considering price.

I've decided that E100VS is not a superb film for astronomy. Yes, it has fine grain, but its green cast is objectionable, even in a location almost free of light pollution.
