[APML] Mewlon 250

I'm starting to understand (and hit) the limits of my C8 and am starting
to consider what my next scope should be (drooling really<g>). What I
want is an RC, but that's kinda outta reach right now. I've read great
reviews and I'm considering a Mewlon 250 for the following reasons:

1) The G11 can handle it just fine (only 27 lbs)...no new mount needed.
2) Fixed primary...no mirror flop, no focus shift, and no need to
recollimate every time I move!
3) 1/10 wave guarenteed by Tak, supposedly pinpoint stars...like a refractor!
4) Affordable within a years time
5) 10" aperature (vs. my 8" now)
6) removable back for faster mirror cell cooldown.

My major concern is the f/12 focal ratio. Great for planetary stuff, but
not so good for dso. I believe Tak sells a f/r that get's it down to
f/9.2, but that's still pretty slow. I'm wondering if anyone on the list
has any AP experience with this scope and can comment on the use of any
faster f/r's. And if so, what is the situation with such things as coma,
vignetting, etc?

TIA, Frank
