If I shoot a CCD shot of
totally dark sky (no green or orange light pollution) I would expect the
"correct" RGB interval times to be those that give me a neutral gray background.
My ratio that achieves this is: R = 1.0 G = .95 B = 1.6 I could
perhaps further test this out by shooting a grey scale in moonlight once I have
the Mandell accessory for shooting with a camera lens. Shooting a full
range of grey scales will also turn up something else... if color changes
are happening due to intensity levels. Definitely a must do test once I can
shoot with a lens... which should be soon.
