That is an impressive
instrument... I assume the weights on the back of the mirror cell are some sort
of compensation device to keep the figure of the primary constant? Also the
Russian optics are excellent... who did the figuring? The Ring Nebula image is
also excellent... and this is first light?
Everything has to work in unison to get an image
like that... congratulations to whomever put all this together.
