[APML] M13 image



Hi Tony,

I've been travelling for almost a month and just read your note on M13 star colors but accidently 
wiped out your email as I cleaned up the many spam messages. I imaged M13 last month but 
just got around to processing it and found I had gotten ( forgotten<g>) rusty on many of the new 
techniques learned from this list.

The new image is an LRGB composite of 60:15:15:15 minute respective total exposures
of 3 minutes each using a 20" F/4 newtonian and a Finger Lakes IMG6303E CCD
camera in 2x2 bin mode for an image scale of 1.5 arc sec/pixel. The image was
color combined in Maxim and luminance layered and further color processed in
Photoshop. The luminance channel was mildly DDP'd in MAXIM. 

The seeing was approx. 5/10 while transparency was about a 7.
