I don't know how I got tangled up in the subject line, but this thread does
emphasize what I said in one form or another before.... the world-class
astrophoto results produced by a well-known few are the result of
world-class efforts put out by those few. Sure, it takes expensive
equipment to make the really fine images (equipment beyond my present reach)
but the big bucks have to be backed up by solid know-how and experience.
Lets face it, Tony's junk shots make my best shots look sick! But the top
guns give the rest of us something tangible to aspire to.
