Thanks to all for answers, but I have a further question.
Does a single beep indicate the loss of guide star or the danger of this
loss?
I say this because I often obtain with ST4 oval or shortly trailed stars and
I have not still understood if it is due to an  autoguiding problem (bad
settings or so) or to a mechanical AR gear jump. Not always indeed alarm
sounds and redout values are under 4.
