It sounds like you have what they called the "Ultima". I have a fork mount
for an 11-inch version of that with the said hand controller. I use it with
my Schmidt camera. Personally, I'm not impressed with the mount. It is
giving me constant trouble. But worse is the fact that last month Celestron
permanently went out of business. It was odd looking at all the Celestron
ad pages in the curent S&T magazine, and the company is no more.
Which leads to the question: Is there an aftermarket outfit anywhere that
is going to (or has) step in with replacement parts and repair for all the
electronic Celestron models that have been released lately? If you have
trouble with a brand new Celestron that has built in compass/GPS/goto/shake
your hand/wipe your nose, it looks like you are way out of luck with no
factory support.
