RE: [APML] First light with FSQ
Hi Jeff,
Nice picture... I noticed something interesting on your picture. If you look at my way-over-processed, much-crummier version of the same target, taken with my Tak FS102, you will notice the same dark lines on opposite sides of the halo on the bright star off the coast of Northern California/Oregon (obviously I don't know the name of the star). Do you, or anybody else who happens to be reading, know what causes this effect on the Tak scopes? The image is at http://home.gwi.net/~aljordan/astro/naNeb.html

Subject: [APML] First light with FSQ
I finaly got out with my new used FSQ-106. What a
short night. Had a guiding problem so only got one
image. Was planning on two to stack. This will have to
do for now.

I'm trying to follow the conversation on APML on BW
copy of red channel for a luminance layer. Gave it a
try.
Comments welcome.
Thanks
