[APML] Yellow Filter For Meteor Camera

  I know there are a few pro photogs on the list so may I impose upon you.
  I'm going to experiment with a new direct view b & w video camera for
recording meteor events which will employ a "fisheye" lens. I currently use
a camera mounted above an hemispherical mirror for this. An acrylic
transparent dome will cover the new camera and my question is would a yellow
tint to the dome help darken the daytime sky for better contrast and if so,
how would the tinting affect night imaging.
