Re: [APML] ASTROPHOTOGRAPHER??

FWIW

By profession I am a professional freight forwarder (I have the diplomas on
my office wall) and I therefore
consider myself a "professional" in my line of work.

I have many hobbies, including astronomy, and recently started into
"astrophotography". I have
quite a few "average" pictures (nowhere near the standard most of this list
produce - yet!) and I
consider myself an "amateur astronomer / amateur astrophotographer". I am
using the word
"amateur" in the context of someone who enjoys a hobby without the need for
diplomas etc..

I think adding the word "amateur" makes all the difference - so, yeah,
whoever took
the photo could be described as an "amateur astrophotographer"
