I was wondering if anyone has some experience with focus locks on
SCT's
Hutech has released a focus lock for
the Celestron C11 SCT and I was wondering if
this device would eliminate mirror
shift? Or does the mirror shift exist between the
mirror and the mirror
bracket?
I have been unsuccessful in my
attempts to focus on a guide star using my ST-4 and Lumicon GEG
combination.
I was hoping to use my Vixen 102 guide
scope that I use with my Tak FS-128 on the C11.
I have purchased the IFocus Ocular
from Software Bisque and a ST-4 focal reducer. Neither
have helped with
enabling the ST-4 in locating the
guide star.
I do want to add that the IFocus
Ocular / ST-4 works great on the Vixen 102 guide scope.
Thanks, Joe.
