Hi Steve

Mirror shift is avoided by using a stiff off-axis guider (Lumicon GEG in my case), and indeed I drift align (no drift in 5 minutes). However, I guess the real challenge with these long exposures using a SCT is to maintain good focus wrt temperature variations.
