RE: [APML] Observatory update



Kent, Flagstaff is a city on top of the colorado plateau, but you can get
away from it.  There is a lot of prime forest land on top, and no lights for
miles.  Ill take a  fisheye shot from the cabin up there of the night sky,
and you can see for yourself.

Why the Mogollon Rim area??
Recently, I had posted a question concerning observing sites in the
Flagstaff
area and everyone said that this was not a good area for several reasons,
including increasing light pollution.........and that a lot of large
vacation
homes are being built in the Mogollon Rim area.
