RE: [APML] Cygnus Nebulosities

Not for Arizona.  My cabin up on the Rim has mag 7.5 skies visually.  I can see the Californian Nebula naked eye on any night up there.  What is the limiting magnitude of your skies?

Take Care,

Hi all,

this image is from my backyard, which is not very dark (about mag 6.5 naked eye) but the red sensitive film pulled the red nebs out nicely.  I took this last night at around midnight.

My Nikon LS2000 scanner does not do well with small stars at the edges, but until I can get my Umax scanner this is what I get.  Ive heard a lot of talk about the Powerlook 3000, is that a good scanner for 35mm?
