Hi all,

I want to add the final chapter to this thread. I've
exchanged a couple e-mails with Brian at Guide Star
today. Here's what I've learned; the main scope needs
to be at least 4 inches in aperture, the TV-85 is a
little too small. He then informed me that he could
machine a ring set that will clamp onto the 85 and
allow mounting of my guidescope (or any scope up to 4
inches) on top of the main scope. While this solution
means I will not be able to move the guidescope
sideways or up and down to acquire a guide star, I
don't think it will be a large problem with the wide
FOV I have.

This system will be machined and shipped in 12-15 days
at a cost of $110. I am extremely pleased with the
help I got from him and willingness to work with me
and explain things. No affiliation. :-)

I wanted to pass this along as there may be someone
else in a similiar situation looking for a solution.
Also, once again Thank You to all of you here so
willing to advise and help others.

Alan
