With all this talk of Schmidting, something buried deep in the back of my
mind popped up. Does anyone remember the old Meade 4" f2.5 Schmidt camera
from the 80's? I remember the Meade posters at the local scope dealer
showing a big picture of M31, on hypered tech pan for about 90 minutes. Did
Meade actually produce any, or did they suffer the same fate as the first
16" SCT they "produced"? I haven't ever seen one, touched one or seen any
images on the web taken with one and was wondering if anyone is familiar
with them. I got the 5.5", 8" - just need a 4" to complete the set.:-)
