RE: [APML] guiding the fsq106 (was Returning to AP - scope advice)



Joel & Kirk,

The G-11 is a good mount. I have a side-by-side plate but haven't used it in a long time. It's a bit of extra effort to balance.

The STV and eFinder are the ideal choice if you have the $.

I use a 60mm guide scope with an ST-4, which is a less expensive route. It guides just as well as an STV, but it takes up room on the top plate where a piggyback camera could go instead.
