Re: [APML] guiding the fsq106 (was Returning to AP - scope advice)



Hello, I am from France.
I own a Vixen DED108SS refractor. (I think you don't have it in USA).
It is a 108mm refractor, f/d5, 4lens (2in ED), with 4" focuser, 6x7 
photo are possible.......It is similar to the FSQ106.
I tried to put it ON my C14 OTA (with losmndy dovetail plate). Results 
are poor. Maybe there were flexure or the primary mirror of the C14 
moved during the exposure (the guiding was made with the C14).
Now, I guide with a small 80mm refractor (with 150x) put on the VIXEN 
OTA, and results are PERFECT.
