I agree completely with Philip's excellent post.

Before Registar I was spending hours on a less than satisfactory 
registration of my medium format images.  It was not fun AT ALL.  
With Registar the images are perfectly registered everywhere without 
effort.  On a large medium format image (130 MB) Registar takes a 
long time, but with the scripting capability I just start it up and come 
back in half an hour and it's done.
