Brian,

Hello and welcome to the APML. You're going to have to be patient with
whomever you entrust your film with. Tell them what you shot and what the
prints should look like. Dark sky, not red green or brown. It will help if
you get friendly with one or two of the guys, or girls. Once they take an
interest in what you are doing, they will bend over backwards to get it
right. My guy gives me extra prints, free enlargements(when he can) etc...
In return, I wrote a nice letter to the owner saying how helpful all his
employees have been(especially my guy) and how much I appreciated their
efforts.

Keep trying, you'll find the right place.
