Hi gang;

     Sorry to bother you with an Off Topic post but I've received some
information which is rather disturbing and we all should know and care
about.  Please take the time to read Steve's eMail and view the
equipment list on AstroMart.

     Keep and eye out, spread the word to other Astronomers you know or
clubs in your areas.  Although this occurred in Central Florida the
equipment could show up just about anywhere.  If you see/hear about
something suspicious let Susan / Steve, or me know.  We'll get your
information to Alex.

     OUCH!  A Takahashi Mewlon 180 & a Mewlon 250 plus an A-P mount
AP600EQMD, CCD equipment and other stuff.  That's many $K's of
equipment.

Got some rotten news about Alex Pettit (alex-fla on irc), an astronomer
friend of ours from the Orlando area.  His house was broken into and all
his astro stuff was stolen. He has placed an ad in AstroMart asking that
others keep a look out for it all. The address of the ad is:
