Re: [APML] Scanner Question/Opinion



Jim,
I import the scans into Photoshop via Twain mode to get full bit data with
the S-20. I should be able to do the same in PW but some bug/glitch won't
allow it. I then adjust the images with levels in Photoshop and clean up any
scratches, etc. If there is any field illumination corrections they are done
at this time. Then the images go to PW for registration and stacking. Some
only do the registration in PW and then combine in Photoshop but I do it all
in PW. Sometimes I may apply a Gaussian blur to help the grain texture. My
images then go back to Photoshop for final tonal and brightness adjustments.
