[APML] [OT] HP 970Cxi drivers for Windows 2000?

Hi all!
Sorry for this off-topic post. I finally got my HP 970 Cxi printer.
I already knew there would be some problems with using its full features
under Windows 2000, but it was written on the package to download the
latest drivers for that operating system.
I might have been too ingenuous not to get well informed before ordering
that printer. Yesterday I dropped by HP online support and, much to my
surprise, there are no Win 2000 drivers around.

Has anybody on this list ever run into this problem or come up with a 
solution? The driver bundled with the OS itself is by far too poor.

Any help will be much appreciated.
