Re: [APML] Results vs. expense (was New Pix by Robert Gendler)
One has to wonder how much time some of our colleagues put into
astrophotography and how many hundreds of pics they take to get the few they
want to exhibit ( see our recent thread about the dozens of rolls of film
per year many go through ). If you value your time at anything over minimum
wage, there would seem to be no "cheap" way to get good astropics. However,
if you enjoy this sometimes tedious process--and most seem to--then cost
would not seem to be that big of a factor. Try to keep up a boat, or worse,
a small plane!! :-)
