You have to remove the front nosepiece; 4 small screws will free this piece.
Then you will see the ring. Some st-4's had the ring glued to the base and
if yours is you will probably break the ring as I did when trying to loosen
it from the glue. You can get more from SBIG. Bake the ring for 4 hours at
300 deg....or is it 3 hours at 400 deg <g>. Probably doesn't matter but SBIG
will tell you tomorrow if you want to know for sure. Be cautious of the
tiny wiring and connectors behind the ring!
