HI--with all the conversations about AC synchronous motors, perhaps
someone out there can provide a useful piece of info for me as well. I
just spent a frustrating eve on a mountaintop with a JMI AC synchronous
RA motor for a CG-5 mount that was just too wimpy to slew the equipment
repeatibly for calibration with my ST4. I tweaked balance for hours. I
want more torque!

Does anyone know who makes the JMI motor and possibly whereabouts of
specs on it?

Has anyone integrated a AC sysnchronous motor with a CG-5?
