Re: [APML] Hypering Film!
Hi Chun:
There's been a tremendous amount of discussion of different films and how
to hyper them over the past two years on APML. This is all in the archives,
so if you don't get a lot of detailed answers, it's because the hypering
experts are tired of discussing it (for the time being ;-))). In addition,
Robert Reeves' new book and Michael Covington's 2nd edition of his go into
some detail on both the films and the hypering process. I have stayed away
from hypering thus far because of the need to keep film dry.

people are shooting film straight out of the box with no hypering. Is it
that whith the right film, hypering does not offer much advantage? I have
seen many old pictures in books and magazines and most were done with
Fujichrome 400 hypered. Is this the same as the now available Provia 400?
I recently adquired a 600 kit and would like to try some. Can it work well
with any film as opposed as finding the right one without hypering?
