Re: [APML] A smoothed IC4604



Hi Herm,
I've used Smart Blur in PS 4 and have found that while it does take some of
the "grain" away, I still end up with an image that looks "digital" or over
processed, even when I try and be subtle with it.  Using the SB, I usually
use a Radius or 3-6 and a Threshold of around 20-30.
Using Axel's program, I used a R5 and Max 20.  I think the concept of
bgsmooth is similar to Smart Blur in PS but I do not know the exact
difference.  Maybe Axel or someone else can explain it because I'd like to
know too.
