Chris Cook gets some real good pics with a Televeu 85 I think. Then there is
the Takahashi 76 and the next sibling the Tak 102; plus a new Tak the 106
($$) . The AP scopes are the Traveller but you'll have to get on the list.
Isn't AP making a 90mm now or did they just make a few prototypes? I think
there may be some other upper end refractors that might be on the used
market. Brandon sold a 80 or 90mm scope but I think it was made by AP. Vixen
may have a smaller APO refractor but I can't remember for sure.

The biggest difference is the price <g>. But optically speaking the ST 80
will be left behind in color correction and sharpness by all the scopes I
mentioned above.
I also assume that they will be much better mechanically.
