Chris I also didn't iron out my problems until I got a screw-in reducer 
which took me from guiding at 2540mm down to about 1100mm. 
If your corrections
don't get lower you might consider this.
Also for your info Chris my Ca1 is 6 or 7 (higher near the pole)
and Ca2 is 9.
