An astrophotography trip is scheduled for this weekend (July 25-26).
The location will be the Fossil Falls recreation area in the desert between
Ridgecrest and Owens Lake. If there's a forecast of high winds at Fossil Falls,
we'll go to an alternate site in the nearby mountains.

The alternate site is Kennedy Meadows up in the southern Sierras (about 35
miles northwest of Ridgecrest).

Both of these sites are quite dark and have a clear southern horizon. If you're
interested in joining us, let me know.
