anyone have any experience with the old minolta SR-1 body for
astrophotography?.. It has a plain circle for focusing (no split prism), it
has no light meter, completely manual.. 

the reason I want to go with minolta is because I already have some lenses,
135, 200, 50, Tmount etc...
