As a "newbie" to astrophotography and this newsgroup I would like to extend
my thanks to all for the valuable information posted here.  My question
concerns Terence Dickinson and Jack Newton's book  entitled Splendors
of the Universe:  A Practical Guide to Photographing the Night Sky. 
On page 44 the author's states:
 
> "Your local one-hour should be quite receptive to helping you
> get what you want.  As a general rule, I've found that most print
> films tend toward a slight yellowish green tint when printed without any
> correction.  At the outset, you might suggest that the operator set
> 'yellow minus two' for many films..."
In talking with my local one-hour photoshop operator, he asked whether
this meant two percent or something else.
