[APML]: hypered film ?

I think that I remember from other posts that hypered color
film stored longer than about a month begins to loose its
sensitivity and sufferes from excessive fogging. Can this
"out-of-date" hypered film still be used w/o problems for short
exposure (< 5 seconds) planetary/lunar shots?
