This problem with monitors is worse than I thought it was. They are all
over the ballpark. Even if adjusted properly, images look different from
monitor to monitor. That's why Jerry and I say it's best to adjust by the
numbers and try to resist the temptation to optimize the image for your
own monitor.

I have a Sony 17seII at home and a 15sf at work and the 15sf is completely
unable to display subtle dark shadings the way the 17seII can. I'm always
disappointed when I take an image to work.
