[APML] SS4000 film carrier troubles

Hi

I'm having troubles with the filmstrip of my SS4000 scanner. I load it (with some difficulties, it isn't as soft as the slide carrier) and am able to preview/scan the first frame without problems. But, when the carrier reaches the second frame, suddenly it makes a "cracking" sound and makes a small jump. Then, the scanning process is aborted and the film carrier goes back to the beginning, where at the end makes another noise, louder and longer, as if the teeth of the worm gears where not doing it right. After all of these, a error message appears on the screen, telling that something is blocking the path, and the carrier is bumping.
What can I do? There are absolutly no problems with the slide carrier, just the film one. Also, I opened the scanner and cleaned all the dust, as well in both carriers. Finally, I cannot see broken teeth, or irregularities in the surfaces of the carrier.
