Nice image Alan! It looks very strong in the blue channel to me, but
that's a personal taste.

Subject: [APML] M11 posted
All,
Got some results scanned from earlier this month.
M11 was nice and easy so it goes up first. Information is with the shot.
I've found that I get better results if I keep processing to a minimum on
clusters, so this has a very light processing touch applied.

Due
to some prior conversations here (APML), I double scanned each negative or
positive (I also had the negatives mounted in slide mounts). Then each
matching pair of scans (I used two different films for each shot I'll be
posting, Fuji SHQ200 and Kodak E200) was 'average' combined in Registar. So
now you know what I've doing ALL day today. 8-)
Personally, I didn't
notice much difference between those and the single scans. I don't think I
have the patience to run it through 4, or 8 times, so I compromised and did
it twice. I'd be interested in any more comments along those
lines.
Alan
