Hi George,

Dessicant in the inner bag along with the loader seems to make the most sense.  That way it'll be most efficient in removing moisture from the film.

I freeze my roll of TP...is it better to keep in the fridge or the freezer over a long-term period?

Cheers,
Jason

The most important aspect of storing film in a fridge or freezer is to be sure to bring it to ambient temp before opening it's container, be it a ziplock or otherwise. For a frozen bulk loader and 100ft. of film this could take hours.

An excellent way to store your film would be to use one of the vacuum "seal-a-meal" systems used to store food. The vacuum will remove all moisture laden air and the plastic used will not allow any air migration for up to two years. Sure....this means reencapsulating it everytime you want to roll off some film, but it only costs pennies and a little time.

In addition, enclosing a dessicant can be a good idea, but all frost free freezers are dessicants in their own right. That's why they are frost free.
