Saturday night I was enjoying some really good seeing and was taking
images on two systems at the same time. I may have been so distracted with the
back and forth that I may have not taken anything at all that was worthwhile. I
am just now beginning to process the data (sunday afternoon). here is the first data I processed and the last object imaged, The Helix Nebula, NGC7293 It rises late and by the time it did I had finished my data gathering for another project so I took three x 20 minutes in [OIII] followed by the same in Halpha. After the last Halpha shot finished, the sun started to brighten the eastern sky..... As I processed the data I see that more exposure time would be nice: the data is a bit thin, particularly the [OIII]. But I gave it the best I could with what I had in the can so here it is: http://www.narrowbandimaging.com/ngc7293_ap180_6303_hao3o3_page.htm |
