Re: [APML] A couple of new film images

Thanks Alan!

The IC 1396 has (about) the same color on the slide. I didn't want to
overprocess it, so the result is a faint nebula after processing too. When
I process an image, I always wants to give as the same looking for the
image, as the slide looks like with a lupe. (Sorry, I dont know if is it
understandable? correct me please!...) So, to give that natural looking is
very-very difficult sometimes.
My Epson works well, it has very good value for the money. It has a bit
soft image, which i don't like. Therefore the stars are bigger, and have
faint halos, which are getting bigger and stronger during the processing.
On the slide there are no halos around the stars, and the stars are as
pinpoints as they get. With a big magnification lupe I can resolve faint 5"
doublestars (with 780mm focus!!) on the E200 slide, which are not resolved
after scanning, even before processing. Although this softness is not so
dramatic, still it is my main problem with the 4870.

And what did you buy?
