It is definitely a different look than I am used to seeing on this object, but I really like it a lot. Congrats on a fine image. There seems to be some sort of vertical band or lines about 1/3 from the left side, it took it into PS and it shows there as well.

we had a surprisingly good run of nice weather the past few nights. I started a multi-night project to image M17. I have never taken a good M17 image so I decided that would be the next quarry for the AP180/IMG6303.

 

I took three hours of Ha on Monday, and three hours of [OIII] on Tuesday. Last night I only got two hours of [SII] due to Microsoft's Windows Updater deciding to reboot my machine and I didn't notice it....

 

anyway here's the image

 

 

I sort of like this. It is "unusual". Let's see if you folks like it too.
