Unless the autoguider port on the mount is a serial RS-232 connection
then you will also need a serial to parallel converter. The output from
the quickcam is on the laptops serial port. (in case you didn't know)
Use a good epoxy or crazy glue to mount the nosepiece, hot glue doesn't
quite cut it when you really need to count on it.
If worse comes to worse you can do what I am about to do, I monitor the
laptop screen and make my guiding corrections from the display. It
doesn't free you up 100% but at least you can sit in relative comfort
and not be bent over an EP trying to figure out if the star is on a
guidehair or your eyes/mind blankedout the star.
I did this last winter before it got too cold for the laptop as an
experiment. The skies weren't worth shooting as the moon was up and
there were a lot of ice crystals, but even in the cold it was a lot more
comfortable and easier on the back the next day.
