[APML] Images of sky to aid composition?

As part of my project to take some large format shots
of the constellations (I'll be guiding the camera), I
need some images of the sky to aid my composition
before I get out in the field.  I would prefer real
images (not a star atlas), that I could then make a
cutout and do some composition work when I'm not
preoccupied in the field.  I also need to see the
nebulas and such that would be part of the
composition.  

Are there any suggestions?  Anything available on the
web?
